An experienced banking professional with over a decade of expertise in commercial credit, SME and retail banking, agriculture finance, and branch operations at the State Bank of India. Throughout his career, he has managed large-scale banking portfolios, including SME exposures exceeding ₹800 crore and branch business surpassing ₹600 crore in deposits and advances. He has handled diverse credit portfolios across sectors such as automobiles, food processing, metals, mining, and agriculture allied industries, with a strong focus on credit appraisal, risk assessment, and financial analysis. Sagar has consistently demonstrated leadership in branch management, business growth, and stressed asset recovery, leading teams and driving performance improvements across multiple assignments. A Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (CAIIB), he also holds a Diploma in Treasury Management and Risk Management from IIBF, along with certifications in Commercial Credit from Moody’s Analytics and Credit Risk Management from CRISIL. He brings a strong foundation in financial analysis, credit risk management, and strategic banking operations. Currently pursuing an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (Batch of 2025–27), he aims to leverage his extensive banking experience and analytical acumen to contribute to strategic roles in finance, consulting, or corporate banking.
