Currently, as Manager, Utilities at BPCL Mumbai Refinery, the role of Shift In-charge of the Captive Power Plant is handled, overseeing the operations of Gas Turbines and associated HRSGs along with the team. This includes normal and turnaround planning and management, personnel training and development, and job certification. Additionally, as the designated "Energy Champion" for the Utilities department, responsibilities extend to initiatives related to energy conservation and energy-efficient operations. This entails brainstorming ideas, providing inputs, and performing required calculations for performance analysis and monitoring. Inter- and intra-departmental coordination is also essential for facilitating energy-saving schemes and preparing monthly reports. The work experience also includes preventive maintenance of rotary and static equipment, raising purchase orders, managing stock and spares, billing of contracts and services, and managing turnaround operations.
