Started at Welham Boys’ School, then pursued a degree in Mathematics at Delhi University, followed by a postgrad in Business Analytics from Praxis Business School. The journey has been dynamic, transitioning from studying equations to creating solutions that genuinely help people. The first job involved working on projects that simplified processes, such as turning documents into databases. Later, as a Business Analyst during COVID, played a key role in improving company performance during challenging times. Currently, leading a team at UnitedHealth Group and working on impactful projects. Through this journey, the importance of staying curious, embracing challenges, and enjoying the ride has become clear.

Work Experience
After completing schooling at Welham Boys’ School and earning a Bachelor’s in Mathematics from Delhi University, pursued a postgraduate degree in Business Analytics from Praxis Business School. Began the career as a Machine Learning Engineer at Koireader, developing a product that digitized paperwork using Python and SQL. Later, at HGS, worked as a Business Analyst, restructuring reporting systems, which led to increased revenue during COVID. Currently serving as a Data Scientist and Tech Lead at UnitedHealth Group (Optum), leading projects in machine learning, NLP, and AI solutions, and has filed patents for work in document digitization and KPI extraction. Passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems, constantly pushing boundaries in AI.
Nature of Work
Started the career working with Koireader, where solutions were developed to turn paper documents into digital formats, simplifying processes and saving time. Later, at HGS, took on the challenge of restructuring reporting systems during the tough times of COVID, boosting revenue and streamlining operations. Currently, serving as a Data Scientist and Tech Lead at UnitedHealth Group (Optum), focusing on using machine learning and AI to tackle complex problems. Had the privilege of filing patents for some of the innovations developed and constantly pushes to explore new technologies that can drive real change. For this professional, it’s not just about the tech—it’s about making an impact through innovation and using AI to create meaningful solutions.
