Graduating from IIT Kharagpur in 2017 with a Dual Degree (B.Tech+M.Tech), an extensive knowledge base has been developed in conceptualizing and implementing end-to-end Data Science solutions. Experience spans product and consulting organizations in the healthcare sector, providing horizontal exposure to solving a variety of problems across different geographical regions. Currently leading a cross-functional team of Data Scientists spread across the USA, Ireland, and India. An avid fan of motorsports, time is spent watching F1 races in free moments and playing poker with friends or clubs. Volunteering at NGOs is a passion, with leadership of the CRY-IIT Kharagpur Chapter during college years.

With over 7 years of work experience in the Analytics industry, expertise has been developed in working for healthcare clients across product and consulting organizations. Current work with UnitedHealth Group has provided opportunities to engage at all stages of a product lifecycle, resulting in a deep understanding of the nitty-gritty of product development, particularly in enhancing operational efficiency and scalability. Previous experience at Accenture Strategy and Consulting as a Data Science consultant involved addressing varied and complex challenges in the healthcare industry using AI/ML tools. This role also provided exposure to working with diversity, stakeholder management, and client engagement, offering valuable insights into various analytics use cases in the healthcare industry.
Nature of Work
Currently working as a Senior Data Scientist with UnitedHealth Group, I lead a cross-functional team spread across different geographical locations. My day-to-day work includes designing and deploying end to end to data science solutions, particularly in healthcare sector. My responsibilities include strategizing and communicating product roadmaps with various stakeholders. The work done has extensive emphasis on enhancing operational efficiency, scalability and adherence to responsible AI principles.
